Tour Overview

In this 4-hour tour, you will enjoy all the must-see sights of Santiago de Compostela in just one morning. We will start at 10:00 in the Plaza del Obradoiro, and from there, we will start the guided tour inside the cathedral with a specialized guide: the treasury, the cloister, and the main chapels.

Learn about the history of the pilgrimage and its construction, the destination of thousands of pilgrims every year.

Then, after a 15-minute break, we will enter to visit the Portico de la Gloria, known as the jewel of the Romanesque of the Cathedral of Santiago. Learn the story of its architect, Master Mateo, and discover all its secrets.

We will continue with a walk to see the main streets and squares of the old town and finish explaining the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos, the former pilgrims' hospital of Santiago.
