Tour Overview

This is a self-guided exploration game played through the old town streets of Maribor. You will explore 6 different locations while following the story of a young researcher tracing Nikola Tesla's mysterious visits to Maribor, collecting clues about his hidden experiments to piece together the final message he left behind. At each location, you will solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues around on statues, monuments or facades, and receive the instructions for the next chapter. The game focuses around the old town, mixing real historical facts with local legends. Perfect for history buffs, mystery lovers and puzzle fans.

Starting from the Railway station, the stops are spaced on average 250m apart, with each location taking around 5-10 min to complete. The route passes through local landmarks & attractions such as Cerkev sv. Alojzija, Kužno znamenje and Stolna cerkev sv. Janeza Krstnika.
