Tour Overview

This is a self-guided exploration game played through the Armenian streets of Bucharest. You will explore 13 different locations while following the story of Damian, a curious explorer retracing old merchant routes to find the hidden messages that shaped the city's heart. At each location, you will solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues around on statues, monuments or facades, and receive the instructions for the next chapter. The game focuses around Cartierul Armenesc (the Armenian Neighbourhood), mixing real historical facts with local legends. Perfect for history buffs, puzzle fans and curious travelers.

Starting from The Armenian Church, the stops are spaced on average 100m apart, with each location taking around 5-10 min to complete. The route passes through local landmarks & attractions such as Biserica Baptista Betania, Theodor Pallady and Biserica Armeană "Sfinții Arhangheli" București.

DISCLAIMER: You will explore by yourself using the Questo app on your phone. No physical guide or stranger groups involved. The full route covers about 1.5 km (0.9 mi) and takes around 1:15h to complete. You can play any day, at any time. Languages available: EN.
