Tour Overview

This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played outdoors, in the real world. You will explore Trondheim across 10 iconic locations while following a surreal escape story filled with shadowy echoes. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various elements such as monuments, graffiti, and facades. The game is mainly focused around the historic streets and landmarks of Trondheim and includes many locally known facts that simply cannot be found in a guidebook or a browser search.

Starting from the waterfront, the stops are spaced an average of around 200m apart, with each location taking around 5 min to complete. The route also passes through Wild Sculpture, Stiftsgården Courtyard, Stiftsgården, and Olav Tryggvason Monument. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location.
