Tour Overview

This is a self-guided exploration game played through the historic streets of Amsterdam. You will explore 9 different locations while following the story of an art collector racing to find the fifth painting in Rembrandt's Five Senses series before it disappears forever. At each location, you will solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues around on statues, monuments or facades, and receive the instructions for the next chapter. The game focuses around the historic center, mixing real historical facts with local legends. Perfect for art lovers, mystery enthusiasts and urban explorers.

Starting from Rembrandthuis, the stops are spaced on average 250m apart, with each location taking around 5-10 min to complete. The route passes through local landmarks & attractions such as Red Light Secrets Museum, Botermarkt, Willet-Holthuysen House and Allard Pierson Museum of Antiquities.
