Group Tour: Windmills, Edam, Volendam & Marken
Tour Overview
Visit the famous windmill park of Zaanse Schans, where, in addition to many windmills, you will see a demonstration of the development of clogs, one of the most typical elements of the Netherlands.
Walk through the town of Edam, where the feeling of traveling through time will take us to the Netherlands of the 17th and 18th centuries.
Tasting of a wide variety of cheeses, accompanied by a brief explanation of the artisanal elaboration of Dutch cheese in a farm in the area.
Visit the municipality of Volendam, a former fishing village, where, if you wish, you can try the dish with more centuries of history in this country, the herring.
Important Notice: From 26/09 to 27/10, it will not be possible to visit Marken due to a road closure. The tour will still last 8 hours, with more time to explore the other towns. The Volendam–Marken ferry option is also cancelled.
