Walking Tour: The Stones Speak in Nahuatl
& Baroque Spanish
Tour Overview
Welcome to Mexico City!
We will talk about current Mexican culture and we'll see from the outside, among other buildings:
• Palace of Fine Arts
• The first two skyscrapers in Mexico City, (one of them, the Latinoamericana Tower)
• Palace of the Count of Valle de Orizaba
• Balvanera Chapel
• Palace of the Marquess of Jaral de Berrio - and we'll talk about who looked out from its central balcony in 1822.
• Palace of "The richest man in the world".
• Temple of San Felipe Neri.
• Constitution Square ("Zócalo") - Heart of the City and whole of Mexico.
• Ruins of the Templo Mayor (Huey Teocalli), the spiritual heart of ancient Mexihco-Tenochtitlan - We will talk about their religious beliefs and discoveries.
We will enter the Metropolitan Cathedral (in the case of a religious service, we'll only be able to take a general view from the western nave, and if we are lucky, we'll listen to one of the baroque organs!)
We'll walk down the street where James Bond appears in the movie "Spectre" and find out where the producers got the idea for a scene between Bond and Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
Make your reservation, and let me share with you some of my passion for the ancient city of palaces!

Customer Reviews
Did two tours with this company both were excellent. You can wander around the basilica on your own but you miss little corners and significants of what you are seeing.our didn't let us miss a thing . I've been to Mexico city before and done a few tours of the centre, this is by far and away the best of them . Do not miss doing both of these tours
Let me tell you about our amazing tour guide, Arthur, in Mexico City. Not only is he a local from the city, but he's also fluent in English, Spanish, Russian, and even has a solid grasp of French. Talk about impressive! Arthur's knowledge was seriously off the charts, and he was so easy to approach. Every question I had was met with genuine enthusiasm and a wealth of information. It was refreshing to meet someone who clearly loves their job as much as Arthur does. I can't recommend him enough! Oh, and Arthur, if you happen to come across this review, a big shoutout and thanks for making the tour so fantastic! Wishing you all the best. Cheers, Paul.
This was a great way to start my vacation in Mexico City! Arthur was a really kind, helpful and patient guide with a lot of knowledge. I enjoyed the tour a lot and would recommend it to everyone!
Arturo es un magnífico guía!! Su conocimiento es profundo y se nota que le apasiona la historia! Me fascinó que no sólo veíamos los edificios por fuera, sino que en algunos entramos para conocerlos por dentro. SUMAMENTE RECOMENDABLEN
