Tour Overview

This is a self-guided exploration game played through the old town of Mexico City. You will explore 13 different locations while following the story of Frida, a painter who traces Diego's footsteps to recover the hidden paintings he left behind before his exile. At each location, you will solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues around on statues, monuments or facades, and receive the instructions for the next chapter. The game focuses around Coyoacán, mixing real historical facts with local legends. Perfect for art lovers, history buffs and puzzle fans.

Starting from Coyoacan Park, the stops are spaced on average 200m apart, with each location taking around 5-10 min to complete. The route passes through local landmarks & attractions such as Iglesia de San Juan Bautista, Museo Nacional de Culturas Populares and Museo "Frida Kahlo".

DISCLAIMER: You will explore by yourself using the Questo app on your phone. No physical guide or stranger groups involved. The full route covers about 2.7 km (1.7 mi) and takes around 0:45h to complete. You can play any day, at any time. Languages available: EN, ES.
