Tour Overview

This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played outdoors, through the dark streets of Palermo. You will explore 13 locations while following a mafia thriller story full with historical facts. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various elements such as monuments, graffiti, and facades. The game is mainly focused around the Historical centre and will have you learn about the Mafia Wars, the secret pact between the Sicilian Mafia and the Italian State and visit a famous scene from The Godfather III movie.

Starting from La Vucciria, the stops are spaced an average of around 300m apart, with each location taking around 7 min to complete. The route also passes through Piazza della Memoria, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, and Fontana Pretoria. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location.
