The best part of the tour is the boat ride which gave a different perspective of the river and the ghats. Watching the ceremony at sunrise is quite magical too, though you don't need to go on a tour as the ceremony is free for everyone. There could be more explanations of the different rituals of the ceremony.
I wasn't sure if I should attend this tour as someone told me it's going to be foggy and you don't see anything, but then others told me that this has to be experienced while in Varanasi. And thankfully I listened to those people, it was a very peaceful and interesting tour

Had a brilliant morning tour with Jain. He was really nice, polite, informative and was very helpful. We enjoyed the Subah-e-Banaras ceremony (was worth the early start) and the boat ride around the Ganges was really good. Can not recommend this tour highly enough.
