Tour Overview

This is a self-guided exploration game played through the rugged coastlines of Reykjavík. You will explore 11 different locations while playing as Ingólfur, a chieftain who gathers allies to defend against an incoming threat from the west. At each location, you will solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues around on statues, monuments or facades, and receive the instructions for the next chapter. The game focuses around Viking Trails, mixing real historical facts with local legends. Perfect for history buffs, adventure seekers and mystery lovers.

Starting from Hallgrímskirkja, the stops are spaced on average 300m apart, with each location taking around 5-10 min to complete. The route passes through local landmarks & attractions such as Dómkirkjan, Svarta keilan, minnisvarði um borgaralega óhlýðni and Ólafur Thors forsætisráðherra.
