We’ll step inside the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, visit the Cathedral and the Psalette—a 15th-century building—and you’ll also learn the secrets of the half-timbered houses lining the streets of Verdun, Juiverie, and Bâclerie. walk through the streets where the famous writer Jules Verne grew up, and visit the church where he was baptized.

You’ll learn about the reign of the fearsome Jean-Baptiste Carrier in Nantes; we’ll explore the neighborhood that housed one of his prisons and where we can still see remnants of that era of terror today.
We’ll also visit the interior of the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, one of the first Neo-Gothic churches in France.
