Tour Overview

This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played through the shadowed alleys of Helsinki. You will explore 12 different locations while learning facts about Finnish history and following the story of a skilled thief searching for a stolen treasure. At each location, you'll solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on monuments, graffiti, and facades. It stays around the city center, mixing real history with neighborhood myths only locals share. Perfect for mystery lovers, history enthusiasts and urban explorers.

Starting from the Temppeliaukion Church, the stops are spaced an average of around 350m apart, with each location taking around 5 min to complete. The route also passes alongside The Statue of Johan Ludvig Runeberg and Helsinki Art Museum. At each location, you'll solve a challenge and receive instructions for the next chapter.

DISCLAIMER: You will explore by yourself using the Questo app on your phone. No physical guide or stranger groups will be involved. The full route covers approximately 3.9 km (2.4 mi) and takes around 1:00h to complete. You can play it any day, at any time. Languages available: EN.
