Your guide will lead you on top of and around the city walls for breathtaking views of the port and the old town. You'll discover why the city walls served as essential structures protecting the people and wealth of the old town for centuries.
This historic walk will focus on the defensive and political challenges faced by Dubrovnik in its struggle to survive as a tiny (yet prosperous) independent republic facing serious threats from powerful and dangerous enemies. Over the centuries, the leaders and the walls of Dubrovnik both held firm.
This tour is a bit steep due to all the stairs on the city walls and therefore not suitable for everyone. It is also not suitable for pregnant women and there are no planned bathroom breaks in this 2-hour tour.

It was a really nice and informative tour on the city wall. I definitely recommend to do it with the guide Darvo and at 5.30 pm - less sun and more shadow and if you are lucky, you can catch the sunset.
it was a long tour but felt really short. Davour speaks excellent English and I could have listened to his histories and stories for a couple more hours Great views in an amazing place. only the truly blessed get to do this tour
It is a great walking tour, just focused for 2 full hours on the City walls and taking its full round. The commentary was also very intersting. Mara our guide was pleasant, organised and did her job very well. I would say, our trip would have been incomplete had we not done this.
This tour was very informative - so much that we didn’t need to do a tour of the old city itself. We got all the information we needed from the wall tour!
