Tour Overview
This is a tour design for you to see the floating village at Kompong Plhuk and to experience what the daily lives of local people look like. Be amazed by high stilts houses about 6-9 meters from the ground to protect for the rising water levels from the great lake (Tonle Sap) during the wet season (September-January). This village can be visited all year round.
From February to September, you will see the village in a dry season way.
Our tour is includes a visit to the Kompong Plouk Village and this village is beautiful and really is the most exciting floating village where you can go to experience the daily lives and way of local living of the villagers.
You will get a chance to see local villagers fishing and logging, visit the local market, local monastery and even visit one of their stilts houses.
