With nothing but optimism and strong hope in their hearts, the citizens of Sarajevo were forced to find a way to survive through the four-year-long siege.
As a result, the people dug a secret, underground way out that still stands today. Now it's your chance to step into the shoes of the people who went through those harsh events, were nothing but hope for freedom. The Tunnel now acts as a museum and symbolizes the most painful period that the Bosnian people have ever gone through.
The Tunnel of Hope Tour gives you an explicit chance to explore the tunnels and experience all the emotions that the tunnels have held and will echo to eternity.
Keep in mind that the entrance fees for the Tunnel of Hope museum (20 BAM) are not included. You should keep some local currency with you, since at the museum they don't accept cards.

Adnan Dzebo was an amazing guide and he had a fabulous way of explaining what life was like during the siege, the historical background as well as the humour people had to have to survive. Truly memorable guide and experience and would highly recommend asking for him.
