Bushpig Backpackers Ltd

Plot 31 Acacia Avenue

Description

Bushpig is located on Acacia Avenue in Kampala's Kololo area, near the city centre and very close to some of Kampala's best eating, drinking and shopping. We are big enough to host any group, but small enough to give personal service!

We offer accommodation options to fit all budgets, from comfortable dormitories with bigger-than-average beds to large en-suite double rooms with a great view of the city skyline. For longer stays we can also arrange a special rate for you if you give us a call or drop us an email.

All rooms have linen and mosquito nets, the showers are hot, the rooms are big, the staff know the city inside out and there's even a garden with deck chairs.

Directions

By boda: Tell the boda to take you to Acacia Avenue. We are about halfway along, between Mediterraneo Restaurant and Midcom.
By private hire taxi: See above.
By matatu: The easiest is to take the Ntinda route and ask them to drop you at City Oil Kamwokya. City Oil sits at the intersection of Acacia Avenue and Kira Road. Take Acacia (it is the road where that massive great mall is) and walk along for about 10mins- we are on the right after Midcom.

Policies

We try not to charge for cancellations because it sucks to be charged for nothing. However we do ask that you try to make any alterations as early as possible- booked beds left unsold increase our overhead costs and leave us needing to charge more, which nobody likes.
