The Henderson Castle Inn, once private residence established 1895, in 2011 was opened to the public. The Grandeur of this Queen Anne style Victorian home built by Frank and Mary Henderson from Lake Superior Sandstone never ceases to amaze visitors. Situated in the historic West Main Hill neighborhood, you’re minutes away from the theaters, shopping and vibrant night life of downtown Kalamazoo, but secluded enough to enjoy a quiet night free from the noise of the city. In addition to the inn, restaurant, winery and spa, we offer multiple spaces that can accommodate weddings, private events and more. Daily Tours are available. The Castle celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2015. Henderson Castle Inn also houses H Prime Steakhouse, Spirits Bar, & the Henderson Castle Winery. In 2015 added a new property The Start Guest House at Henderson Castle, established 1900.

Como llegar

Conveniently located 1/2 mile west of downtown Kalamazoo just off of M43 West Main Street the Henderson Castle can be accessed from the north or south via US131 and east or west via the I94 business loop. Just minutes away from the Kalamazoo Amtrak station and 5 miles from Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport.

Cancellation & refund policy: If you cancel 8 days prior to arrival, you will receive a refund minus $25.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 8 days of arrival there is no refund whatsoever. If you are eligible for rescheduling there will be a $25.00 fee. Rates, furnishings and amenities may be subject to change. No refunds are allowed regardless of any circumstances without prior management approval.

Valid government ID and credit card used for booking must be provided at check-in. All published room rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guests are subject to a $25 extra guest fee per night. A resort preservation fee of $18.00 per room is due upon reservation. This fee is charged once per stay.
The entire Castle interior is smoke free. Any guests who wish to smoke must do so in the designated smoking area outside, which is located under the covered area next to the back entrance of the Castle. Any cigarette butts or trash must be placed in the provided trash receptacles. Because the Castle is licensed by the State of Michigan to sell alcoholic beverages, it is unlawful for guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine, onto The Castle’s property for consumption or any other use.
Guests must present their room keys to the Front Desk before they check out of their room. Guests who do not return room keys will be charged a $50.00 fee for replacement keys.
