Staying at Lokal Hostel offers a uniquely immersive way to experience the atmosphere of Makati's Poblacion district, a former red light district that found a new life as the most interesting up and coming food and nightlife destination in all of Metro Manila. All restaurants, bars and clubs of Poblacion are at a short walking distance from the hostel, but if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city you can also choose to relax on our quiet rooftop terrace or admire the unique collection of artworks that decorates our walls.

Como llegar

We are located on the 3rd floor of the building near the corner of P. Burgos Street and Kalayaan Avenue (look for our logo on the side of the building facing Kalayaan Avenue). You can access the staircase leading up to the hostel from either P. Burgos Street or Ebro Street, next door to Señor Pollo.

We are at 25 minutes walking distance from Buendia Station on MRT line 3.

If driving or coming by taxi from NAIA airport: enter the Skyway and follow directions for Makati (North). Exit at Amorsolo, turn right on Sen. Gil. J. Puyat Avenue / Buendia Avenue, then left on Makati Avenue; P. Burgos Street is the first on your right after the intersection with Jupiter Street.

Políticas

This property has a 7 days cancellation policy. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.


1. A valid government-issued identification or passport is required at check-in. Minors under 18yrs old are not allowed to stay in the premises without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. The hostel is not suitable for children. Travelers with children below this age are advised to book into private rooms or the entire dorm.To collect Php100 for key deposits in case of loss.
2. Standard check-in is 2 pm and check-out is 12 noon. Please note that early check in is subject to room availability. Guest who will check out after 12 noon shall be charged Php100/hour and if you decide to check-out beyond 4 pm, a whole day rate will be charged
3. All guests must pay upon check-in and upon extensions. We accept cash, debit and credit card payments
4. Visitors are only allowed in the lobby.
5. Guests will take full responsibility for their money and personal belongings. Lokal hostel does not assume liability for the loss, theft or damage to your belonging
6. When booking please keep in mind that the Poblacion district is known for its night-time activities and parties, so Lokal Hostel may not be the best option if you are looking for a quiet or sedate atmosphere.
