Shiado Hostel

Description

Open in March 2009 and decorated by artists and friends, it's the ideal starting point to fall in love with Lisbon: everything is near. In our hostel you will find comfort, cleanliness, safety and a staff always available to advise you on places to visit, night bars or restaurants.

We have a guest kitchen, free internet and wi-fi, cable tv, dvd's and all shared rooms have lockers to keep your personal affairs safe.

Our main worry is to guarantee tranquillity to our guests while in the hostel but, for those who prefer to dive into Lisbon's night, just a few steps away you will find the electric Bairro Alto's atmosphere!

And, for those who want to relax a little bit more, our neighbours are the Portuguese Macrobiotic Institute and the Yoga Centre Gayatri: discover the opportunity to give yourself a little bit of well-being without going out of the door...!

Directions

From the Airport by Underground
Take the Underground (Red Line) towards São Sebastião and change at ALAMEDA station to the Green Line direction Cais do Sodre and get off at BAIXA-CHIADO*

From Santa Apolónia and Sete Rios bus railway stations by Underground
Take the Blue Line towards and get off at BAIXA-CHIADO*

From Campo Grande Bus and Railway Station by Underground
Take the Green Line towards CAIS DO SODRÉ and get off at BAIXA-CHIADO*

*On BAIXA-CHIADO, exit the underground following the directions to “Largo do Chiado”.
Once you exit the underground, look back and you will see the Brasileira Café.
Start walking down Rua Garrett (you will pass the Brasileira café on your left and a Benetton Shop on your right) and then take the second street on the right, Rua Anchieta (on the corner there is the Bertrand bookshop).
Our hostel is located at n. 5 of Rua Anchieta on the lefthand side, between the shop "A Vida Portuguesa" and the Café "Kaffeehaus"

*Cancellations must be made by E-mail at least 24 hrs before your scheduled ARRIVAL DAY. If you miss this deadline, we are entitled to charge the equivalent of the first night of your booked Nights.
